The HBPA of Ontario is an organization which supports its members and backstretch employees during times of need through financial assistance.
Individuals may visit the nearest HBPA of Ontario office to pick up an application form.
Once the application is reviewed by our Horsemen’s Service Representative, it is presented to the Benevolence Committee. The Committee convenes every month to review the merits of each application and then presents its recommendations to the Board of Directors at their monthly board meetings for discussion and final approval.
Completed Applications must be submitted by the 2nd Wednesday of each month in order for it to be reviewed by the Benevolence Committee. Applications received after this date will be reviewed the following month.
